We're looking for an ambitious Senior CI/CD Development Engineer with great knowledge and skills about Software Configuration Management (SCM) in a cloud environment.

About project and responsibility

Our Scandinavian automotive client is creating a new Software Factory unit where you, together with the team, will be challenging the software production pipelines and improve their effectiveness from commit, through testing all the way to the release.

This is a greenfield project with a main goal is to facilitate engineering, building, and operating the Cx (Continuous Integration, Continuous Verification, Continuous Validation) flow across various multiple (270) R&D projects. Your role will focus on implementing new design, improving efficiency and feedback loop times, based on a common Team approach worked out with the CI/CD Architects. 

You can expect 100% of creative destruction and creation. You won't face specific guidelines and procedures, but you will co-create them and implement along with CI/CD Architects support and guidance. Your hands-on approach or startup experience will be highly appreciated.

You will join the team guided in SAFe methodology (Agile), and you will work together with: Cx Architects, Product Owner, Scrum Master, HMI Expert, Cybersecurity Expert, Implementation Leader and several Senior Cx Development Engineers.

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

  • 6+ years of professional experience in IT industry in various positions, related to SCM, DevOps and/or software development areas;
  • Commercial experience (2+ years) in large scale projects in scope of DevOps activities, implementing their architecture, scope and suggesting technical solutions;
  • Hands-on experience in Git/Gerrit/Jenkins/Linux environment;
  • General software programming experience;
  • Practical skills and good understanding of Python & Bash scripting;
  • Experience with solutions based on cloud environments (Azure preferably);
  • Multithreading is no stranger to you;
  • Hands-on, startup mindset is what you need to feel comfortable in this role;
  • Location in Poland, to make easy signing cooperation offer and, from time to time, team meetings.
  • Smooth and efficient English communication (C1+)

You will get extra points for:

  • Good understanding and experience in Java/C++/C/ Embedded which are used in projects;
  • Azure certification;
  • Automotive industry experience.
