We are looking for: Technical Project Manager who will be hands on during migration projects helping with analysing client's data centre infrastructure, working with senior PMs to development migration plans, overseeing the migration events and providing technical guidance and hands-on troubleshooting as needed.

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Management, in particular IT Infrastructure projects such as Data Centre Migrations (desirably in a Pharmaceutical IT environment with experience of GxP and validation desirable);
  • Familiar with working on large-scale projects, with numerous geographically dispersed stakeholders;
  • Blue-chip or multinational company experience (within Infrastructure and Data Migration experience preferred);
  • Any prior Data Centre Migration, Cloud Migration or IT Infrastructure Transformation project experience (assessments, migrations, consolidations, virtualization projects, etc.) would be pre-ferred;
  • Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP, Netstat, Ping, NS Lookup, Ports, Protocols;
  • Systems: Understanding of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, Red Hat);
  • Understanding of Public Cloud Solutions including models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud);
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure Management Tools (Device42, Splunk, etc.);
  • A holistic understanding of IT infrastructure inclusive of server, storage, network, database, systems, DR/business recovery and continuity practices, etc.;
  • Familiarity with application and workload dependencies, architecture, and service level requirements;
  • An understanding of application and workload move dispositions (cloud, P2V, V2V, P2P, Lift and Shift) and the methodologies around each would be a plus;
  • Excellent communication, organization and writing skills;
  • Solid project management and project documentation skills: budgeting; project schedules and dependencies; project monitoring and corrective action;
  • Communication mechanisms including project status reports and dashboards, meeting agendas and minutes and executive reports and presentations;
  • Understanding and experience of MS Project and JIRA (and metrics reporting);
  • Experience of working with external vendors and onshore and offshore suppliers;
  • Science, Technical or Business degree or equivalent years of experience;
  • Experience of working in a DevOps team and Agile delivery experience;
  • Disciplined prioritization, time management and scheduling abilities (multitasking skills are essential);
  • Full project management life cycle experience from project initiation to project closure;
  • Results focused and able to manage own time effectively, balancing quality and pace of output.
